Senior Citizens do Reiki for themselves By Ardath Berliant of Reiki by Ardath Today I was speaking with a friend at Curves. She is about 80 years old, and she told me that her sister who is ill is able to do reiki on herself. She said that the reiki helped her sister a lot, and helped relieve her pain. My friend has now requested that I teach her to do reiki for herself. And I think I will create a class just for senior citizens so they can help themselves with some pain relief as they need it. I have not seen this mentioned anywhere else, nor do I know anyone who currently serves this community, but it makes total sense. Who need pain relief more than our aging and aged population?
